A A 6th century Ogham Stone, it contains markings in the 6th century Ogham script, together with a Latin transcription.
"Hic jacet..." Here lies Barrivend, son of Vendvbari", mirrored by the Ogham script (written as markings along the edge of the stone)
which refers to "Maqi" - also meaning 'son of', as does the Latin 'filius' written on the top.
