Shell House.
This 1826 Shell House, a hermitage, was derelict but has now been restored, after a lot of careful research. You can read about it here, http://www.blottshellhouses.com/Products/Follies/Cilwendeg_Shell_House.html It's probably the most photographically unfriendly place I have tried photographing. I assume there is no electricity to it, as there are no lights in the place, it's quite dark. What little light there is is from the two small windows and the doorway, so very uneven light. Once you step inside the door, that's it, you can go no further, just one step, as there is a metal cage that stops you going further! So everything has to be shot from there. It's not easy! Close by is Capel Colman, all part of the same estate, so I have included that as well. Best viewed using "slideshow", top right.
